You can use Health Check in Sage 50 Payroll to automatically highlight anything unusual or inconsistent in your payroll data which may cause problems submitting information to HMRC. For example, an employee with a date of birth in the future or pay periods that have not been updated.

Any errors which are reported need correcting before submitting anything to HMRC, but warnings can be for information only.

Tip: To perform this task you must be logged into your payroll software as MANAGER. This will give you full access to the data in your software. Find out more about access rights.

You can:

Checking your data

From the horizontal toolbar on the desktop > click Health Check.

Tip: Has the check identified missing pay periods? Are there employees with brought forward values on their P11s? For possible solutions to these issues, see Solving discrepancies on your P11s.
